What is the cleaning methods for Engineered Timber Floors?
When we choose engineered timber flooring, we must know some cleaning methods, which are very helpful for our day-to-day maintenance, but many people don’t know much about it, so let’s take a look at the cleaning methods of engineered timber flooring.
- Use a vacuum cleaner to clean regularly
We need to use a vacuum cleaner to clean the floor regularly. Try to choose a vacuum cleaner with a filter. This will absorb the larger particles and garbage on the floor and filter out harmful microparasites that can cause respiratory allergies.
- Use a special wooden floor suction nozzle to clean regularly
To avoid scratching the floor, we can also replace the vacuum cleaner with a special wooden floor suction nozzle. The soft bristles lightly touch the floor to protect the composite floor to the greatest extent. Cleaning and maintenance are carried out simultaneously!
- Focus on cleaning with rag/mop
To deal with the stains on the composite floor, we can dip a rag into the usual rice wash water, and directly wipe the rag on the floor gently, which can not only remove the stains but also keep the floor shiny. You can also choose a more relaxed tool! We wring the mop to a semi-dry state and then focus on cleaning the stained area. It should be noted here that the mop must not be too wet, otherwise, it will cause the softening and deformation of the composite floor, which is not good.
